This is a great mixer for about a year and half. I use it once or twice a week, mainly for baked goods. Then it started to get uncomfortable noisy but still works. I started with earplugs! Now, two years later received as a gift to the mixer, it does not work. Very disappointing. . .

I upgraded and found that the two sides of a penny for my barely 5 qt tilt head craft much of this KitchenAid model. Although I missed a lot of reasons (there is no easy access to Bowl tilt head model to whisk / whip off from the mixing bowl), I must say that I absolutely love this part of the mixer, the bowl itself. I love no one “position, this is the bottom four.” 5 and 5 / 4 mode – only a small dimple. Therefore, come still sitting on the counter level is not decreased, but I can also be used as a bain marie hot water bath before mixing bowl machine (very useful cream Swiss industry) bowl. I like the 11 line whip with this mixer (although it can be difficult to wash held, because the gap between the wires is only * small enough, I can not my fingers there). I think this whip much faster than normal, including the 6 line whip and other models. In a side note, when I received my mixer, grinding flat beater with small pieces of metal from the top. . .
